A: Pesawise was authorized by the Central Bank of Kenya to operate as a Payment Service Provider in August 2022 after undergoing a rigorous vetting process.

Q: What’s the idea behind the conceptualization of Pesawise?

A: The founder of Pesawise had a vision to pioneer a sophisticated online payment platform for business economies. He undertook research that focused on the Kenyan and East African market to understand what current payment options were available to merchants from different backgrounds. This included government payments, utilities and the opportunity to pay without incurring heavy costs.

Pesawise is a ONE STOP SHOP for business payments intended to solve all payment challenges within one platform.

Q: How does Pesawise work?

A: Pesawise is a simple but effective payment solutions platform. It integrates all payment channel methods (bank transfers, mobile money, card payments) into a single platform to enable one to make and receive payments in an instant, seamless and secure way.

Q: Who can sign up for Pesawise?

A: Pesawise is for everyone. Sole traders, freelancers, startups, small, medium and large enterprises all have great benefits from using Pesawise. They work hand in hand with tier 1 banks and government agencies to provide secure services.

Q: Why should I sign up for Pesawise?

A: Pesawise platform allows individuals to better manage their payments and streamline their business operations. This promotes convenience, accountability and transparency in business operations especially in all departments i.e. from operations and logistics to finance and includes director safeguards too.

Q: Is Pesawise free to use?

A: Pesawise has no sign up or subscription costs although the platform charges per transaction value of transactions done via the platform.

Q: What types of payments can I make with Pesawise ?

A: Pesawise supports a wide range of payment types including bank transfers, mobile money transfers and online internal payments.

Q: How many accounts can I open using the same email address?

A: You can only use one email address once to open an account with Pesawise.

Q: Is my personal and financial information secure with Pesawise ?

A: Yes, Pesawise takes security and privacy very seriously. We use the latest security protocols to ensure that your personal and financial information is protected at all times.

Q: How do I sign up for Pesawise?

A: You can sign up for Pesawise by visiting our website and clicking on the "Sign Up" button or visit app.pesawise.com our official address. You will be asked to provide some basic information, including your name and email address.

Q: After sign up, how long does it take for one to access and use the platform?

A: After all the required details and documents have been provided and verified, the platform is open within 1 to 2 hours.

Q: Can Pesawise use my funds in the system once I top up my Pesawise account?

A: Pesawise cannot access client funds and the funds can only be accessed and utilized by the client's authorized personnel.

Q: Can I download my transaction records?

A: Yes, we provide PDF and CSV file download options for the transaction records.

Using Pesawise

Q: How do I send money with Pesawise?

A: To send money with Pesawise, log in to your account and click on the "make a payment" button. Select how you want to pay from the options provided. You will be asked to enter the recipient's information and the amount you wish to send.

Q: How can I receive money with Pesawise?

A: Pesawise uses payment links that can be sent to clients to receive money into the platform. Under payment links you can choose various channels of payment like: Pesawise Transfer, Card Payment, Mobile payment and Bank transfer.

You can also top up your Pesawise account using Bank Transfer and Mobile Transfer by use of your account Reference.

Q: How long does it take for a transfer to be completed?

A: Our payments are in real time unless there are delays for which you will be notified in advance.

Q: What is the validity of an OTP

A: An OTP is valid for 10 minutes.

Q: What should I do if I fail to receive an OTP?

A: Check you network connection to ensure you can receive email. You can also choose to resend OTP to ensure that it works. If it doesn't work after this contact support Here

Q: What fees does Pesawise charge for transactions?

A: Our transaction costs are on our website Here.

Q: Can I cancel a transfer once it has been initiated?

A: Once a transfer has been initiated, it cannot be cancelled. Please ensure that you have entered the correct recipient information and amount before confirming the transaction.

Q: What happens if I send money to the wrong recipient?

A: Unfortunately as at now, we cannot reverse or refund transactions that have been sent to the wrong recipient. Please ensure that you have entered the correct recipient information before confirming the transaction.

Q: How do I check the status of a transfer?

A: You can check the status of your transfers by logging in to your account and navigating to the "Payments" tab. You will be able to see the status of each transfer.
