Create a Payment Link

Use the Pesawise dashboard to create payment links that you can share with your customers. The link opens in multiple browsers and offers four methods of payment offering customers variety of payment options to choose from.

  1. Mobile Money.

  2. Card Payments.

  3. Bank Transfer.

  4. Pesawise Transfer.

    With Pesawise payment links, you can also accept many payments at once using the recurring feature of the payment link. This enables the same link to be shared and used multiple times.

    You can also choose whether to input the amount before hand or allow the customers to input and pay amount.

  • Once you create an account with Pesawise, by default it loads the home page.

  • Select Payment Links from the Sidebar or from the Homepage button.

  • You can create a new payment link by selecting Create payment link or select a previously generated link from the list displayed.

  • While creating, you have an option of Single Charge or Multi Charge where single is a one-time payment link and in Multi the link is recurring and the same link can be used by different clients to make payments.

  • For any option you select, a form is generated that requires:

    • The pesawise account the money is coming into.
    • Name of payee or subject of payment being made.
    • A redirect URL that is loaded if the transaction doesnt go through.
    • A description of the payment being made.

  • If you want to input the amount before hand, uncheck the is your amount flexible box, input amount and click Create payment link. Note: You cannot change the amount once you create a link with amount specified.

  • Created links are displayed under the payment links tab. Displaying the name, date of creation, amount and type of the payment link.

  • To share the payment link with clients, you can do any of the following:

    1. Select the payment link created and click on the copy button to copy the link and paste to share it externally either by mail or other sites like Teams. You can also open the link on a browser to view it before sending.

    2. Click the Share button, a menu of sharing options will appear, including the ability to share via email or WhatsApp.

  • If you want to delete the link, simply click on it and select the Delete button at the bottom of the payment link view.
